Austin Federation of Musicians Free Concert Series at Zilker Park
AFM Local 433 recently ended their free concert series #1 with a huge and successful 10 week run at Ruta Maya. Beginning in May, we are proud to announce the beginning of Series #2.
The AFM is proud to present 10 Free Concerts featuring 22 great talented groups at the Zilker Hillside Theater for the enjoyment of the Austin community.
The Free Concert Series kicks off Thursday, May 3, 2007. Concerts will be every Thursday evening from 7:00pm-10:00pm and again on Sunday afternoons from 12:00noon-3:00pm. The weather is perfect, so bring your family out and enjoy music in this beautiful atmosphere. This is a great opportunity to share todays music with all those you love. Zilker Hillside Theater is located across from Barton Springs pool.
The concerts will feature a minimum of two bands every show. The theme changes each week, so take this opportunity to experience the great musical diversity that Austin has to offerall for free!
