One Minute to Midnight winds up the Cibolo Nature Center’s Songs & Stories family-friendly outdoor concert series amid the oaks and the evening stars. One Minute to Midnight serves up an eclectic mix of jazz, soul and contemporary rock, from Cole Porter to Motown soul and from big-band swing to Sting. Proceeds benefit nature-education programs at the non-profit CNC. Bring lawn chairs or blankets, picnics, kids, grandparents and nice dogs on leashes.

When: 8:30-11:45 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11.

Where: Cibolo Nature Center, 140 City Park Road, Boerne, in Boerne City Park off Highway 46 just west of the Kendall County Fairgrounds.

Cost: $10; $7.50 CNC members; $5 for 65 and up; free for kids 12 and under.
